She's smart, she's kind, she's beautiful and most of all, she's my oldest daughter. Charlsie Jones is celebrating her 12th birthday.
She was born on October 12, 1995. I remember that night as though it just happened. My wife and I were heading to the hospital at 7:03 that morning only to find out it was a false alarm. The doctor gave her two pills. They were suppose to calm her down. You would've thought she had a fifth of Hennesy. At 7:15 pm, the contractions started again and this time I knew they were real...I watch T.V.! I had to carry her down the steps to the car because she couldn't stand. The pills had taken the drunken woman effect on her. When we arrived at the hospital, security wanted to call the police on me. He thought I'd beat her, she was down on the passenger side floor.
We got to the room and the doctor said there's no time for an epidural. I grabbed him by his collar and said in a very, very, very demanding voice "You will give my wife an epidural!" He then said in a very calm voice "Mr. Jones, do you see that patch of hair right there, that's your daughters head." My wife gave birth naturally to Charlsie. I still get chills. They would've had to cut me.
Here are a few shots from the party. I hope you enjoy them
