I have some images coming up real soon. The family and I just got back from Disney. The kids had a ball. I asked my son will he ever forget this vacation and he told me "no way, you're the best Dad ever." I was so touched, I contemplated taking him back next week...but that thought was short lived.
The reason I can't send the images now is because I'm too sleepy. I havent't even edited them yet. My partner in crime "Morgan" loaned me her pocket camera. We shot a ton of picts with it and even got video of Shamu and some dauphins jumping around.
Chess, Angie, Devyn, Donovan & Cocoa...THANK YOU!! The trip would not have worked without all of you. More on the Chestang's in the next post.
By the way, Chess is the creator of JAPOC. Are you JAPOC? I am!

Assisting Morgan at Amy & Bill's wedding
I have a friend who is a wonderful photographer. (Morgan) She is so creative. One day I have to tell you the story about how we met. You're talking about two people who've never met strangers. Well, I had the pleasure of backing her (that's photog talk for 2nd photographer or assistant) at a wedding she had April 12th.
My job was to cover all of the things she couldn't. She was handling the bride and the groom so I took care of the detailed things.
The Bride & Groom were Amy & Bill. Bill is a firefighter here in Mobile. They had a room set up with old fire fighters gear...helmets, hoses, clocks, extinguishers & and alarm bell. It was a pretty cool room. Bill's groom cake was shaped like a burning building that actually smoked.
Here are some of the shots I took. There will be more added soon.

It's been a long time...
From the famous Erik B. & Rakim.
Well, it's finally here and I'm glad to announce it. Timothy Lamar Jones Photography now has a WEBSITE!! You've got to check it out!
Now now just hold on...it's still in its infant stage but it will soon grow to be good looking site, just like its daddy. Smiling
Please send me emails to tell me what you think. I'm going to add more pictures as time goes on. I really didn't want to fill it up with a lot of shots from the past. I want to keep it fresh.
Let me know what you think...I need some honest opinions.

What keeps you motivated?
I was covering an event not long ago when something caught my eye from a distance. It was a sparkle and not just an ordinary sparkle but something like a headlight coming straight at you at night. Ok ok I'm exaggerating a little, but I saw one of the most beautiful diamonds I have ever seen. I walked over and asked if I could photograph this magnificent sculpture. Mr. and Mrs. Dukes were more than willing.
My wife deserves a diamond like this...and I'm going to keep doing what I have to do to one day make that dream come true.
Along with my God and my family, one day purchasing one of these is definitely one of the things that keeps me motivated.
Tell me what motivates what you.
