LaShondra & Murray

How often have you ever done something so far out of the box that it made "YOU" stop and say Hmmmmm? Well, meet LaShondra..."The Different One"!! I got this call from this bright and cheery young lady about shooting her wedding on a Sunday, at noon, in the park, on the grass, while the guest sat at tables...and afterwards, there would be a brunch and the guest wouldn't have to leave their seats. I couldn't believe it at first. Finally, someone one that's not afraid to be like me, different!!! I said "YESSSS"!! I met up with her and her wonderful husband Murray and we worked out the details.

The day was absolutely gorgeous. The weather man said that it was suppose to storm that day, God had a different plan. Here are a few shots from that day. Take a look.

Thank you Bird!!!!!!

My 1930 Model A "The Old Lady"

This is "The Old Lady". Isn't she beautiful? My father bought her for me. She rides so nice. This was my first time driving her. It was so beautiful outside that I just had to take her out. In the back seat is my sister Toni and my cousin Barbara. That handsome gentleman sitting next to me is my father Leonard.

In Los Angeles Hanging out with my Pop

Prayers Prayers Prayers...we need a lot of them. My father has been diagnosed with Liver, Lung & Stomach cancer. I believe that he is healed from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. Thank You Jesus!!!! I'll post some photos this evening.

Last Sunday Apostle Fred Price's son prayed for my father at Crenshaw Christian Center. It was very emotional for him. I wanted to take pictures but he wouldn't let go of my hand. He kept repeating "don't leave me". I guess they'll be mental photographic pictures.

New Home Full Gospel Ministries

I had the honor and privilege of photographing an historic event between a father and his two sons. Bishop Robert Charles Blakes, Sr. (New Home Full Gospel Ministries, New Orleans) is stepping down out of the pulpit and is allowing his sons RC Blakes, Jr. & Samuel Blakes to guide the ministry. It really felt good to know that they wanted my wife and I to document the occasion. For those of you that know my style of photography, you know I was all over the place...capturing every moment. I wanted to photograph everything I could see and or anticipate. Here are a few images from the evening. I shot well over a thousand!!!
