My Wife's Birthday Surprise 8-17-08 (She said I did Good!)

There are a few things I'm sure about. One of them is "I'm sure I'm in Love with my Wife!"

August 17Th was her birthday and I've been working on a very special project for a couple of months now. You're talking about being surprised...well that was the plan anyway. I needed the assistance of some people and it got out. Was I upset...YES I WAS!!!! But, I had to adjust. I couldn't allow that to RUIN what I'd worked so long and hard for.

Her reaction was exactly what I'd expected. She couldn't hold back the tears. I invited some of the people I photographed to come and watch the premier. My sister-in-law was crying, my mother was crying my sister was crying and I even teared up a bit watching them. I also think my cousin Donnie was crying...and he is a Marine.

The shots of the kids are our kids. She was really shocked when she saw those. Our oldest daughter was told by her doctors she wouldn't be able to start school until 2 weeks in. By the Glory of God, she was there the first day of school. It was awesome just to see her standing in the picture. Our youngest is now in big kids school as she says.

Her second gift included some subliminal shots throughout the show. She figured it out while watching of course. Everyone else just wondered why the shots were there. Before the show ended, I had to sneak out to grab the basket filled with the items in the show. They were a piece of granite, some hard wood and some square tiles. Now, I know you know what the second gift is. We're about to start construction on remodeling our home. She was outdone then, totally caught off guard. Her third gift was dinner at Bonefish Grill...which I might add was FANTASTIC! Then later I got my thank you gift. (smiling ;')

Here is the slide show that has gotten me a lifetime "Get Out of Jail Free Card" membership.

Fellas, if you want to do this for your wife...you better call me.

First Day of School

Here are a few shots of my kids getting ready for school. Today is the first day and they dreaded this day. Not because of it being the first day but because they knew Dad was taking pictures. C'mon, they're my kids! They should know by now how I am. Also, today is my baby girls first day in big kids school. Don't worry, I haven't cried.........yet. (Laughing)

Gulf Coast Tropics

Here in Mobile, we're blessed to have a Semi-Pro Women's Basketball Team. Here are a few shots I took for the Championship Tournament coming up this weekend. I'm told they have a fantastic chance at winning the Championship. I'll post some game picks next week.

Regina & Kevin

Now this is what I call "True Love!" Regina and Kevin are two really nice people. When Regina asked me to shoot her wedding I was excited. She is definetly one of the nicest people I know. She said she wanted a small intimate wedding on the beach. Well, she got it. It was beautiful.

Here are a few shots...enjoy.

Charlsie's Surgery

The photos aren't in the order I want in but here they are. My daughter had surgery to correct a 51 degree curve in her spine. The name for it is Scoliosis. She is doing FANTASTIC!!! She is now walking and is also feeding herself.

Daddy is so proud of her. My wife has been staying with her for the past few days. I'll post more shots real soon.

A proud Poppa!!!

MY SON! Tim Jones ll 7yrs old

This is my son Tim. He's growing so fast. I'm trying to keep up by taking lots and lots of pictures, but I can't store them fast enough.

We won an XBOX 360 selling cookie dough. I figured I would buy some games and have some cool father and son time with him. I could teach him some of my game playing techniques I remembered from my Atari days. Don't trip, ya'll remember those days. Pacman, Ms. Pacman, Galaga, Frogger, Dig Dug....etc. I thought he'd be proud that his father had some skills.
(Fellas, remember when we'd play the Olympic game or football and we'd have the pencil between our fingers tapping it to run faster. You had to tap both buttons really fast and the pencil gave you leverage.)
Well, it's sad for me to say that my 7yr old son ripped me to shreds! It was so embarrassing. My wife laughs at me because I'll wait til he's asleep and try to get my practice on. It really doesn't matter, he's just gonna beat me again. Then I'll do like our parents would do..."Go to Bed!" Remember those days.
Here is my boy putting on his first pair of Stacy Adams. I couldn't resist it. I had to grab my camera and catch these moments. They are not staged. He is actually taking his time and looking at the shoes. He didn't want to scratch them before mom got to see them on his feet. I'm so proud of my son. He's growing up to be a wonderful person.
Check him out...My Boy Looks good!!!

Couldn't access my account!!!

I'm sorry everyone. I got locked out of my google account. I had to get in contact with them to reset everything.

You all can stop calling and blessing me out!!! I apologize. I'm editing some new picts as we speak. GEEEZZ!!!!
